Which Language Is the Guide Working In?

Short answer: a professional licensed guide travels with every departure and is already paid for inside the flat €50 per person. The narrower question — which language that guide works in on your chosen date — has a date-specific answer, because it follows who is on the coach that morning. So we ask you to name your language when you reserve, rather than print a promise for a date we cannot see yet.

The platforms show a language filter, you tick it, nobody explains the mechanism. Here it is: one coach, up to 30 pickup areas between Tekirova and Gazipaşa, guests arriving from Germany, Poland, Russian-speaking countries and the UK in a mix that shifts week by week. Ask us and you get a straight yes or no for your date, before any money moves. The rest of the fare is itemised on the inclusions page.

The Guide Is Already Paid For

No supplement exists for guiding, in any language. The €50 covers hotel pickup and drop-off, the round-trip coach, the licensed guide, travel insurance and three meals — breakfast on the road, lunch near Pamukkale, dinner on the way home. Only the official entrance tickets sit outside it, bought at the gates on the day.

The travertines barely need commentary: shoes off, wade the shallow warm pools, let the white calcite do its work. Hierapolis is the other half of the same UNESCO property, inscribed in 1988, and left unexplained it reads as a field of handsome rubble rather than a Roman spa city with a hillside theatre and a vast necropolis. That is where a guide earns the day.

Why the Language on Board Shifts

Hotels do not fill by nationality, and neither does a shared coach. A spring departure out of the Alanya side can run almost entirely German-speaking; the same route in August might carry four markets and a family from Cork. Guiding is scheduled against the manifest, so the day is genuinely guided in the languages the group needs — often more than one, taken in turn at each stop.

Season moves the odds too. From March to November the tour runs daily and the rota is at its deepest. December to February it operates Monday to Saturday with smaller groups; that is when a less common language is worth asking about early rather than at the last minute.

How to Confirm Yours Before You Pay

The payment model makes asking risk-free — the reservation is free and you settle up on the day, so a question commits you to nothing.

  • Name it in the booking. Put the language you want in the notes; the same confirmation that carries your pickup details carries the answer. The booking walkthrough shows where.
  • Or ask first on WhatsApp. Send your hotel area and the date you have in mind to +90 536 603 75 84 and a person answers — no ticket number, no auto-reply.

If you have already reserved and the answer is not the one you wanted, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure. That window is what lets us be blunt about a date instead of optimistic.

The Badge We Won't Print

A language badge on a listing describes what an operator manages most of the time. It is cheap to display and expensive to break, and it breaks in exactly one place: on the coach, hours inland, with most of a long day still ahead. We would rather lose the booking at the enquiry stage than hand someone a badge and a disappointment.

So there is no guarantee here in any of the four languages this page is written in. What is promised is the process — a named date, a human answer, a free cancellation window, and a price that does not move whichever language you ask for. Check your date and reserve free, then tell us your language.

FAQ

Is a guide included in the €50 Pamukkale tour?+

Yes, on every departure. The flat €50 covers hotel pickup and drop-off, the round-trip coach, a professional licensed guide, travel insurance and three meals. Entrance tickets are the one item paid separately, at the official gates.

Can I request a German, Russian or Polish-speaking guide?+

You can request it and we will tell you honestly how your date looks. Which languages are guided follows the group travelling that day, so the answer is date-specific rather than a standing promise. Message +90 536 603 75 84 before you commit to anything.

Does a guide in my own language cost extra?+

No. It is €50 per person for everyone aged 4+ from all 30 pickup areas, with infants 0–3 free, and no language carries a supplement.

What if my language isn't available on the date I want?+

You find out before you pay, since payment happens on the day. Most guests shift the date by a day or two — the tour runs daily from March to November — or keep the booking and cancel free up to 24 hours before departure.
