Do Children Pay Full Price for the Pamukkale Tour?

Short answer: yes, from the fourth birthday onwards. On our Pamukkale tour from Antalya a nine-year-old and her grandfather are billed the same €50 each. The one exemption is age 0–3, and it is a real one — infants ride free and never appear on the total. There is no reduced child fare, no student rate, no half-price bracket waiting in the last booking step.

Since almost nobody books as a single traveller, here is the sum already done for the party shapes we carry every week. Tour cost only:

• Two adults + one child aged 4 or over — €150
• Two adults + two children aged 4 or over — €200
• Two adults + one child aged 4 or over + one infant 0–3 — €150
• Two adults + a toddler under 4 — €100
• That same family of four with both grandparents along — €300

The reasoning behind it is duller than any marketing trick: nothing on this day gets smaller when the passenger does. A six-year-old fills a whole coach seat across roughly 240 km of Taurus road from Antalya — considerably more from the eastern resorts — is named on the same travel insurance, follows the same licensed guide through Hierapolis, and is served the same three meals: breakfast during the morning drive, lunch near the terraces, dinner on the way back. Sell that seat at half rate and something has to give, usually the food or the time on site. One honest number keeps the day whole.

What sits outside the €50 is age-blind too. Official entrance tickets for Pamukkale–Hierapolis, the optional Cleopatra Pool swim and any museum entries are bought at the gates on the day, and drinks are paid separately, meals included. Those tariffs belong to the site administration, they shift with the season, and the administration applies its own rules for younger visitors at the ticket desk — which is exactly why we print no figure here rather than a guess your family would have to correct in person. Nothing is paid when you reserve: booking online is free, the €50s are settled on the day of the tour, and cancellation stays free up to 24 hours before departure — worth knowing when a child's holiday tummy can rewrite a week. The tour runs daily March–November and Monday–Saturday from December to February. Pickup is early morning, with the exact time for your hotel confirmed with the booking.
