Swimming in it — actually swimming, as opposed to the shallow terrace pools, which are strictly for barefoot wading — is one of Pamukkale's great optional extras. Optional is the operative word on this page.
So what does it cost? Here is the honest structure, with deliberately no number attached: the pool has its own separate entrance ticket, sold on site at the pool itself, priced by the site administration and adjusted seasonally. It is not part of the main site entrance, it is not part of our €50 tour price, and we never resell it. You decide at the pool's edge, with the water in front of you, and pay the real official tariff there — the same logic we apply to every Pamukkale ticket.
Practicalities, learned from many happily soaked guests: wear your swimsuit under your clothes and pack a towel, so the decision stays a whim rather than a project. There is free time built into the visit, and the pool is where a lot of it gets spent.
